LEED. Title 24. ASHRAE. Uptime. The names matter when you know what they ask you to do.

Explore selected codes, standards and frameworks used on U.S. projects. See what each means, how commissioning connects and what you or your team might want to learn next.

A code, a credit and an owner requirement have different jobs.

A code’s applicability depends on adoption and scope. A standard may be referenced by a code or contract. A rating program defines a certification path. Owner criteria and guidance help define the project approach. Start by identifying which kind of requirement you are reading.
