For recruiters & hiring managers

Promising people.
Clear expectations.
Evidence of capability.

A strong résumé starts the conversation. Demonstrated capability moves it forward.

An “AI-perfect” résumé may be well written. Readiness still needs evidence.

Training and a readiness review with Marcus. Connect a candidate’s potential with the work your client or organization needs done. Agree on the role, practical tasks and review criteria, then use training and coaching to address the gaps.

What this gives you

A more useful conversation
about readiness.

Clearer expectations

Translate a broad job description into tasks the person needs to perform.

A focused development plan

Use the initial review to choose training, practice and coaching.

Evidence you can discuss

Review what the person demonstrated, what support they needed and what they should work on next.

A practical partnership conversation

Define the work
before judging readiness.

Bring a role and a promising person. Agree on the learning scope, review method and information to share before starting.

01
Define: establish the starting pointRole → tasks → baseline

Identify the systems, responsibilities and tasks involved. A practical baseline discussion or agreed exercise can reveal what the candidate understands and where support is needed.

Example: Ask the candidate to explain a system drawing and identify the information missing before testing.

02
Prepare: work on the gapsTargeted training → coached practice

Choose instruction and coached examples that match the role. Revisit the task, discuss the reasoning and provide specific feedback.

Example: Follow a sensor signal, interpret a sequence or review a sample test record.

03
Demonstrate: review the evidenceObserved work → next development needs

Observe agreed, role-relevant learning tasks. Review what the person demonstrated, the conditions and support provided, and what still needs development.

Example: The person explains a finding and supports it with the relevant requirement and observations.

Hiring decisions and permission to perform project work remain with the employer and responsible project leaders. Training evidence supports their judgment alongside qualifications, references and the employer’s own checks.

BPV
Verified.

A proposed written record of role-specific readiness.

We’re developing the format for BPV Verified. You can talk with Marcus now about training and a readiness review for an agreed role.

A course-completion record shows what training someone completed. A readiness review explains what Marcus observed and how the work compared with the agreed criteria.

The planned written record would identify:

  • The responsibility reviewed, tasks and review criteria.
  • Conditions, supervision and support provided.
  • Skills observed and the evidence supporting the judgment.
  • Remaining gaps, development needs and limits of the recommendation.

Formal BPV Certified credentials may be considered as a later step, separate from this proposed readiness record.

Work with Marcus

Bring me the role.
Let’s talk about the work.

My goal is a recommendation I can stand behind: what I observed, which responsibilities the evidence supports and where more development or support is needed.
